Written Statement of WOOMB International to the 54th session of the Commission on Population and Development: United Nations Headquarters, New York, April 19 - 23, 2021. 

The issues surrounding the political climate of population in developing countries often dictate their inability to increase the level of sustainable development within their borders, and that may have external repercussions on their neighbors. Economic non-proliferation and socio-coercive conditions also impact these countries. Multifaceted strategies are required to address the elements of poverty which inhibit the growth of a society in order for it to achieve independent stability and health. 

WOOMB International renders this assistance to individual women and girls throughout developing countries by elevating their knowledge of their own fertility through ecological family planning with the Billings Ovulation Method® of Natural Fertility Regulation. Natural health, prevention of disease and unwanted pregnancies, are achieved through its continuous realization and implementation, as are the independent pursuits of higher education and sustainable employment. 

The Billings Ovulation Method® is easily learned by women of varying climates and cultures and is adaptable to most environments. It is refined in its simplicity and ease-of-use. Concerted efforts to eliminate the scourge of poverty challenge sustainable countries to assist in the elevation of unstable poverty-stricken environments through which comprehensive strategies encompass the dialogue of mutual shared responsibility in technologies between these neighbouring governments and the implementation of cohesive development, encouraging opportunities of economic and social growth within each of the countries of that region. 

Similarly, the strengths of self-reliance and communal partnerships are consistently realized by the women who employ ecological family planning with the Billings Ovulation Method®, providing them the ability to seek economic and social independence. Comprehensive fertility education allows women to make sexual choices based on their current needs and livelihoods. These strategies contribute to the economic stability and physical health of women and girls which empower them to diminish the machinations of poverty and aim for its elimination within their own lives and their community. 

Recognizing that the ability to provide and engage in healthy nutrition is impeded by extreme poverty, a collective response from countries which exhibit the pillars of sustainability is required in order to render supportive assistance to those that are struggling. In doing so, a geographical precedent is established which can enable the struggling countries to gain much needed economic independence and develop their own socio-economic infrastructures on their path to sustainability. In a similar context, the Billings Ovulation Method® contributes to the sexual health, well-being, and fertility needs of all women and girls, by providing them with comprehensive fertility education in ecological family planning. Accordingly, women and girls are supported through its implementation and gain their own independence in that regard.
